Late this evening I decided to go look for a barbeque place close to Fuentes circle. Some people told me about it. I didn’t really find it and even got lost! So I asked a girl who was standing in the dark. I couldn’t really see what she looked like but I was more interested in finding my way. She was friendly enough and proposed to show me the way herself. So that’s what we did.
When we got more into the light, I discovered that she was quite good looking and sweet, so I invited her to come eat with me. We talked and she showed me how to eat in Cebu, with plastic bags on your hands and funny little rice-balls.
Since I really didn’t know where I was, she offered to show me the way back home. She said: “You are nice to me, I will be nice to you.” Which is something that’s better to never be said to me
