Dirty Deeds: Done Dirt Cheap Video

This little video compilation here was put together about 2 years into the Trike Patrol lineage. Along with an excuse to play some AC/DC and highlight some of our "dirty deeds" of those first two years, the primary intent was to provoke and basically piss off the entire AC bar owner/expat/money-ko tourist crowd at the time, who really did a lot of bitching and whining about our site. We got dozens of threatening emails over and over about how we'd be beat up, stabbed, "shot on sight", arrested, electrocuted, or killed in some other manner if we ever set foot in town again. The most creative one was an email with the subject line "Jimmy Regina", simply containing a gruesome photo of a very dead man with his brains splattered all over the road; it even appeared to be a photo in the Philippines.
Ya see, certain old fuddy-duddy bar-owner types were horrified that their little geriatric society's secret would "get out" and bring down the wrath of Hillary Clinton and Janet Reno upon them or somehow harm their profit-making operations in some other unexplainable way. One in particular, who fell "victim" to many of his top girls at the time being snatched and "exposed" by the Trike Patrol, ludicrously claimed that it would "hurt his business" because now nobody would want to barfine those girls after seeing them plowed by us online. In reality, nothing was further from the truth. Many of them became even more sought after. Only fools believe that illusion, as great as it is, that the sweet pretty Filipina they have their eye on has "never been touched". I suppose I can see how a bar-owner would wanna keep the customers dumb in that way, but come on, our little site didn't have that much of any measurable impact on anyone's bottom line in AC; not negatively anyway.
In AC, it was and still is "business as usual". New clubs have opened. Old clubs have closed. Some have been raided, closed, re-named and re-opened. It's been going on this way in that shitty little town for a long time now, and as much as we'd like to think our little ol' website could have that much of an impact on real-world happenings, it doesn't. In the end, it's merely a small little side-show for entertainment purposes only. It's for the true Filipina addicts, the casual mongers, hardcore old hands and the curious newbies; to catch a glimpse, and hopefully even a little bit of that "magic" feeling you get when enjoying the physical company of many of a lovely Pinay past, present and future. Never replacing the real experience of course, but perhaps tempering the fever just a bit.....until that next (or first) trip back. That was the true mission of Trike Patrol from it's inception, and I'd like to think we've accomplished that better than anyone over the years and still do today. Here's to the next time you yourself can get back to the land of 10,000 girlfriends and dirty deeds done dirt cheap.
